Yesterday Rocky Mountain Power and TerraPower gave a nuclear energy presentation at the WY Legislative Minerals Interim Committee meeting.  This was a surprise for a number of reasons:

• Nuclear energy is not on the Minerals Committee 2021 Interim Topic list
• We’re pretty sure that Rocky Mountain Power was not placed on the agenda until recently
• TerraPower was never on the agenda at all and yet they showed up and were treated like a celebrity by some (not all) legislators

These nuke guys are in a hurry folks and you need to know that.  They’ve been making their pitch across the state already for several days and most especially to your elected officials – town councils, mayors, county commissioners, legislative representatives, etc.  They claim they have been warmly received and that most local officials are receptive to this rushed nuclear project.  They have 4 meetings planned next week in our state – one is in Converse County or Glenrock – where exactly is a good question.  Have any of you been invited to any of these sit-downs or meet and greets?  We bet not.  They want buy-in from your elected officials but have not likely invited most average Wyomingites to these meetings.  First they need to press some flesh (wink- wink).

We were all hoping we’d have enough time to truly educate ourselves on this issue before having to decide, individually, if we are a Yes or a No on having Bill Gates nuclear reactors in Wyoming.  Clearly they are impatiently watching the clock and want to close this deal ASAP.  Just watch them in the video and see for yourself (begins at around 46 minutes).  Some of the legislators also seem equally anxious to close this deal as well.

TerraPower and Rocky Mountain Power originally stated they would make a decision by the end of 2021 on what power plant they choose to hope to convert to nuclear.  Now they are saying they prefer it to be much, much sooner.  August was alluded to by Minerals Chairman Jim Anderson at that meeting, and we’re not so sure that he wasn’t joking.  The sense of panic to get this project agreed to and started ASAP by these guys is palpable – very similar to what we all saw in Gordon’s nervous energy when he dropped this nuke in our laps less than 1 month ago.

Pressure from a salesman is pressure from a salesman – whether they’re trying to sell you a used car or a nuclear reactor.  It would definitely be safer to get pressured into a questionable deal on a used car.

It was just last year that some Wyoming legislators said, and most legislators heard, that this was not going to happen for years and that there would be plenty of time to work out the details:

“This isn’t gonna happen next year, frankly probably won’t for 4 or 5 years.  But in the next 8 to 10 years this is gonna happen.”

Yet here we are.  With anxious nuke-salesmen nervously checking their watches as they fan-out across the state putting pressure on the very people you voted for to represent YOU.

And every Wyomingite needs to know, in no uncertain terms:  Once a nuclear reactor deal is agreed to, it is no longer in the state’s hands in any shape or form – it is ALL under the purview of the federal government for the life of the nuclear plant.  And they are not good at cleaning up their messes.

So they need to hear from every single Wyomingite ASAP and so does every elected official that represents you – from your Town or City Council, County Commissioners, WY House Representative and WY Senator, the Governor, Senator Barrasso, Senator Lummis and Rep Cheney (hold your nose on that one).  You need to blast them all.  You need to do it often, you need to do it loud and clear (keep it civil), and for as long as it takes.  Regardless of what county you live in Wyoming, don’t let anyone tell you that it’s a local matter and none of your business – because it is your business.  As the residents in southern Ohio have tragically experienced, the devastation from radioactive contamination can spread across multiple counties.

During the Minerals meeting WY House Representative Chuck Gray asked how the public can make their voice heard and how can communities withdrawal from being selected for these nuclear reactors.  Here is the exchange:

Is there anything in the following passage that strikes you as even remotely important for the research, development, engineering, construction, deployment and maintenance of nuclear reactors?

…The Chernobyl accident was a large surge in the rate of the nuclear fission process caused by a combination of poor reactor design, failures by regulatory bodies, and operator error. Here, the neutron poisoning caused by ¹³⁵Xe (t_1/2 = 9.2 h) which is formed by the beta decay rate of ¹³⁵I (t_1/2 = 6.6 h) suppressed the reactivity of the core. The operators tried to maintain the core at a low power by withdrawing almost all of the control rods, then as they started the test the rapid consumption of ¹³⁵Xe by neutron capture combined with some other effects (such as the void effect) caused the reactivity rate to increase greatly. The operators were unable to reinsert the control rods sufficiently quickly to maintain control of the reactor, and a steam explosion (boiling liquid expanding vapor explosion) occurred which blew the reactor apart. If your answer is “yes”, Bill Gates does not agree with you.  That’s because Bill Gates believes that math is racist.  In fact, if you believe that the specificity of the above mathematical formula is really, really super important knowledge to comprehend and reiterate then you are most likely from a white supremacist culture:

Which brings us back to college-drop-out Bill Gates pretending he is a nuclear physicist:  Technical specificity with the Bill Gates/TerraPower nuclear reactors has not been achieved.  According to WY Senator James Anderson (SD 28, Natrona County), who gave a presentation last Tuesday about the TerraPower Natrium Reactors, ‘…the question is, has all the technical issues been settled with this.’  “No it has not… Nooo it has not!  That’s what this demonstration plan is all about…”  (See video https://www.facebook.com/NCRWomen/videos/332390315058869/at around 40 minutes and 30 seconds.)

If we follow the sincere “math is racist” logic of Bill Gates (sincere to the tune of at least $160 million dollars), it is entirely reasonable to question;  Are the technical deficiencies of TerraPower Natrium Reactors a sign of incompetence or corporate wokeness?

WHEN WILL STAR-STRUCK, CELEBRITY-ENAMORED WYOMING OFFICIALS WAKE UP TO THE LUNACY OF BILL GATES?

Wyoming officials need to remove the stars from their eyes and take a sobering look at the public record of Bill Gates and his Bill Gates and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF).  This would have been the #1 responsible thing to do before ever considering letting Bill Gates loose in our state to toy with uranium and nuclear reactors – most likely under a pre-arranged MOU agreement with the Chinese Communist Party.

Most people are unaware that Bill Gates does not hold a college degree in anything.  He enrolled at Harvard College in 1973 and dropped out two years later.  Period.  Just because he was a co-founder of Microsoft and is a fairly brilliant financier does not make him a brain surgeon – or a nuclear physicist – or a nuclear engineer.

If Wyoming elected officials would just open their eyes they would clearly see that Bill Gates is not Einstein – he is Frankenstein – with billions of dollars, that he distributes to play global chess with human lives.

People have always been used as experimental animals by Gates in whatever new and interesting scientific endeavor that strikes his fancy.  This is exactly what we should expect in Wyoming from Gates’ experimental nuclear reactors engineered by his expensive billionaire-boy-toy called TerraPower.

There is a plethora of issues that center around Bill Gates – much of which concerns his influence on global health, medicine, and most especially vaccines.  The video at the bottom of this page does a darn good job documenting much of that.  We highly recommend taking the time to watch it.

For now, we would like to briefly zoom-in on Bill Gates’ intense support for gain-of-function research – scientific experiments reminiscent of Frankenstein, except with microbes as opposed to humans – microbes ultimately modified to see what they can do to humans.  The term ‘gain-of-function’ should sound familiar to you, as it as it has been hot in the news as ‘the science’ that most likely led to the creation of the Covid-19 virus and the subsequent pandemic that has changed our world, for all people, on too many unpleasant levels to count.

What is ‘gain-of-function’?

‘Gain of function’ is a field of research focused on growing generations of microorganisms, under conditions that cause mutations in a virus.  These experiments are termed ‘gain of function’ because they involve manipulating pathogens in a way that they gain an advantage in or through a function, such as increased transmissibility.

Such experiments allow scientists to better predict emerging infectious diseases, and to develop vaccines and therapeutics.

Gain of function research may use genetic engineering or serial passaging.

Genetic engineering involves ‘editing’ the genetic code to modify the virus in a way predetermined by the scientists.

Meanwhile, serial passaging involves allowing the pathogen to grow under different circumstances and then observing the changes. For example, the pathogen may first be grown in one environment, and then a portion of it may be taken and allowed to grow in different sets of controlled environments. The process is continuously repeated, and the final product is compared to the original pathogen to understand how the microbe changed its genetic code.

Why US temporarily paused funding it

The issue of gain of function research came under scrutiny in 2012, when a team of Japanese scientists in the US published a paper that helped show how the avian flu H5N1 may have transmitted to humans.

The group had altered the virus in a way that allowed it to reproduce in mammal lungs, which are a bit colder than bird lungs. This change allowed the virus to be transmitted via coughing and sneezing in ferrets.

Although the research helped explain how H5N1 could become airborne in humans, it created an outcry in the US, with The New York Times stating in an editorial opinion “that the research should never have been undertaken”.

Within the next two years, the Barack Obama administration in the US paused the funding of gain of function studies, particularly those anticipated to confer attributes to influenza, MERS, or SARS viruses — which have the potential to cause pandemics.

One of the primary Japanese scientists referenced above, Yoshihiro Kawaoka, has been an all-time favorite of Bill Gates and has received tens of millions of dollars in BMGF funding for gain-of-function research.  Below is a brief timeline of just some of the research by Kawaoka on pathogens, gain-of-function and Covid-19 vaccines.  Grants received from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation are noted in yellow below.

• Mar 26, 2008, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has given $1.3 million to UW [University of Wisconsin-Madison].

…The project, led by UW-Madison virologist Yoshihiro Kawaoka, will be done with Lentigen Corp . It will use high-throughput screening to identify mutations in avian influenza viruses that could lead to a pandemic, or global outbreak of flu…

The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation , UW-Madison’s tech-transfer organization, has agreed with Lentigen to donate the resulting intellectual property to the international research community… [which China absolutely loved no doubt]

Kawaoka, who has a joint appointment at the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine and the University of Tokyo, created a method for screening avian influenza sequences to determine when the virus jumps from birds to humans…

The grant is the first made by the Gates Foundation to UW-Madison to support a global public health initiative.

• Dec 31, 2008, Genes That Made 1918 Flu Lethal Isolated.

By mixing and matching a contemporary flu virus with the “Spanish flu” — a virus that killed between 20 and 50 million people 90 years ago in history’s most devastating outbreak of infectious disease — researchers have identified a set of three genes that helped underpin the extraordinary virulence of the 1918 virus.

In 2004, Kawaoka and his team identified another key gene from the 1918 virus that enhanced the pathogen’s virulence in mice. That gene makes hemagglutinin, a protein found on the surface of the virus and that confers on viral particles the ability to attach to host cells.

“Here, I think we are talking about another mechanism,” Kawaoka says. The RNA polymerase is used to make copies of the virus once it has entered a host cell. The role of hemagglutinin is to help the virus gain access to cells.

• 2011.  Another Failure of Imagination?

… In 2011, two US-funded biolabs – one in Wisconsin led by Yoshihiro Kawaoka and one in the Netherlands – created, in just five mutations, a potentially more deadly strain of H5N1 bird flu that is highly transmissible to and between humans – and published exactly how they did it.  Release of the scientific paper caused a stir and triggered a 2014-2017 moratorium on US federal funding (not other funding) during which efficacy discussions took place regarding “gain-of-function” or “dual use” studies (ones that make viruses more transmissible and/or deadly)…

In 2011, debate was raging among scientists on whether to block publication of the paper by a NIAID-NIH team led by Dr. Yoshihiro Kawaoka from the University of Wisconsin describing how they had effected human transmissibility in the H5N1 virus (avian influenza or “bird flu”, caught from poultry, 60% mortality rate) in just five mutations, a study also funded in part by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation…

The Foundation for Vaccine Research (FVR), a privately funded group that seeks to increase funding for vaccine research, argues that manipulating viruses to make them more deadly than they are in nature is “morally and ethically wrong,” and that the ethical questions have been pushed aside in recent debate.  Such experiments have been dubbed gain-of-function research…

• Mar 6, 2019, UW-Madison scientist allowed to resume controversial flu research.

…The work by campus scientist Yoshihiro Kawaoka involves modifying bird flu viruses such as H5N1 so they can spread among ferrets, an animal model for studying the flu in humans.

The research aims to identify changes that could cause the viruses to spread easily among people, “so that public health officials can monitor for these changes in nature and begin to stockpile vaccines and antivirals to combat it,” Rebecca Moritz, the university’s manager for select agents — or germs considered bioterrorism threats — said in a statement.

But opponents, including many fellow scientists, have said the research could cause a flu pandemic if an enhanced virus escaped from the lab or was replicated by terrorists.

Some criticized the federal government, which issued a moratorium on the studies in 2014, for quietly approving them again in recent months without publicly explaining why. The developments were first reported last month by Science magazine.

This January, UW-Madison was informed by the Department of Health and Human Services that it could resume the work, Moritz said.  A $600,000 grant for the research comes from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease.

In a magical turn of events in the last 24 hours, the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) has been identified by both the White House and the Department of Defense as a threat posed by the military-industrial complex of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). 

Recall that Bill Gates/TerraPower signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) in September 2015 to develop the liquid sodium-cooled nuclear reactor that Gates hopes to dupe Wyoming into being the very first (experimental) home for.

These proclamations came just one day after WY Gov Gordon’s shocking nuclear announcement:

So what will Bill Gates/TerraPower do now?  Easy – they will de-emphasize their nuclear research/development/business relationship with CNNC and go wildly viral with the name(s) of a different company or company(s) that are now part of this nuclear boondoggle – not hard to do when you are directly connected to Microsoft News!  We expect that Rocky Mountain/PacifiCorp and the Gordon/Barrasso team will do the same to distant themselves from anything that publicly reeks of the CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY having anything to do with OUR NATION’S POWER GRID or OUR URANIUM.

As an aside:

Speaking of our Nation’s power grid – did anyone get a load of our new U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm in that WY PBS video?  Here are two things we couldn’t help but notice:

• she is unable to operate a Zoom meeting, yet she is the most senior official other than the president of the United States or Secretary of Defense – according to Wikipedia
• who on earth stages their Zoom meeting background environment with a family photo of everyone wearing a Fauci-mask?!

My, my, my – how star-struck they seem to be.  Bill Gates focuses his attention on Wyoming – acknowledging that we exist, in that lunatic way he is so fondly known for.  Wyomingites recoil in disgust and revulsion, while Barrasso and Gordon swoon (ever so reminiscent of Matt Mead smitten with that Google-Government-play back in 2011).

Or do they actually look paralyzed with fear in that Wyoming PBS Energy Announcement?

We’re thinking it’s all the above – smitten, swooning, but mostly paralyzed with fear.  (Just look at that self-comforting body language combined with the little boy shoulder & hip twist of Gordon…  how revealing and utterly embarrassing.)

“Wyoming has been selected by the Dept of Energy, Terra Power and the CEO of Rocky Mountain Power as the site for construction and operation of an advanced nuclear power plant” says Mark Gordon – as if he’s announcing a billion dollar lottery ticket winner.

Oh, so that’s how this works?  A federal agency and two privately owned companies have decided a friggin nuclear power plant, “the first of it’s kind”, is going to be plopped in our beloved backyard, where the deer and the antelope play?

Uh, NO.  They have no idea what is about to hit them.

Gordon and Barrasso display what looks like defeat.  Powerlessness.  Did we really elect these guys?  They have no idea what is about to hit them.

“Today’s announcement is truly game-changing and monumental for Wyoming“, says Gordon.  (As China laughs & laughs & laughs.  As AOC and Sanders laugh and whisper.  As Pelosi and Veep Harris cackle and plan.  As Mao rolls in his grave with delight.)

Yeah, it sure the hell is game-changing.  For starters, it’s game-changing for elections you dim-wits.

Back in Sept 2015 World Nuclear News reported that Terra Power/Bill Gates signed an MOU with the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) to develop its traveling wave reactor (TWR).  This is exactly WHO and WHAT they want to bring to Wyoming.

Less than one year ago, Global Construction Review reported that the U.S. Pentagon and U.S. Defense Department “published a list of Chinese Companies that the Pentagon says are too close to the Chinese state and its armed forces“… “to inform Congressional committees and warn potential clients and investors in the companies that the US government regards them as a security risk“.  Also in that article:

The Pentagon’s action follows a letter sent in November from two senators, Democrat Chuck Schumer and Republican Tom Cotton, to Wilbur Ross, the commerce secretary. In it, they asked what action had been taken in response to the Export Control Reform Act of 2018 and the 2019 National Defence Authorisation Act, which aim to restrict the export of technology that might help the Chinese military.
