History of WY State Actions on Nuclear Topics

Below is a timeline (most recent at top) of various actions that we have found (thus far) by the WY Legislature and Executive agencies regarding nuclear topics.  Topics include:  State – Nuclear Regulatory Council Agreement; Storage of radioactive waste/materials; Radioactive waste facilities; Transportation of radioactive waste/materials; Nuclear energy; Nuclear reactors.  *Legislative bills are in green, committee/task force/working group details are in pink, all others are highlighted in yellow. *Bills with an enrolled act number passed, bills that failed are so noted.  All are hyperlinked.

2024 Aug 14: No amount of money is worth turning Wyoming into a nuclear waste dump.  Article outlines some of the repeated history of WY legislators continually bringing the topic of spent nuclear storage to WY for revenue.
