SLIB Approves Full-Funding on WY Business Council Recommendations

At their April 4th 2019 meeting the Wyoming State Land and Investment Board approved full-funding for all three Wyoming Business Council grant and loan recommendations.  Sublette County requested $1,032,500; City of Casper requested $1,520,693; Sweetwater County requested $50,000.  Click here for details

We were really holding out hope that we wouldn’t get a Governor with the same rubber stamp mentality.  Since Governor Gordon wants us all to be “realistic and mature” about taxes and state revenue, we believe we should also be realistic and mature about the “diversifying the economy” agenda and the tax-revenue-glutton known as the Wyoming Business Council.

… HOW did they become so generous?

… and WHERE do they get all of that money?
