The cowardly Wyoming House Representatives, who are afraid to represent their constituents during ANY public health emergency, subsequent orders, or any fall-out thereof, hopes to rest well tonight now that they’ve convinced themselves this was the best they could do and have psychologically wiped their hands clean.
We’re talking about HB0127 Public Health Amendments, which was negotiated this morning in conference committee – the last bill standing to remedy the constitutional violations incurred by every Wyoming citizen for the past year (and continues to a smaller degree today).
The negotiated bill was approved by a majority in the House. This negotiated version was stripped of the strongest McKeown amendments. Legislative oversight was removed from ANY public health emergency and subsequent public health orders, and no limitations were put on how often the governor can issue “subsequent orders”.
We will post the (final) enrolled act later, when it has been made available, and go over it with a fine-toothed comb – along with the Roll Call Vote. Meanwhile, here is the video of the morning discussion in the House on the negotiated version of HB0127.
Fast forward to 37:35.
