Governor Gordon Appointment: 2020, Oct 24th – appointment effective January 4, 2021. Judge Allan’s appointment filled the vacancy left by the retirement of Judge I. Vincent Case.

Allan has served as Deputy Teton County since 1999 and is currently Chief of the Criminal Division. He previously served as Sublette County Attorney for five years and as an attorney in private practice in Jackson. Allan received his Bachelor’s and Law degrees from Brigham Young University. Clark, his wife Kristen, and his son Stuart reside in Jackson.

Allan, the county’s deputy prosecutor, is leaving after a 21-year run with Teton County, where he also serves as the chief of the criminal division. Counting a five-year stint as the Sublette County Attorney, he’s spent 32 years in western Wyoming — a side of the state he’s leaving to take over as circuit judge in the Eighth Judicial District.
